I read all the posts i could on this subject..but none of it answered my questions. Here are my specs:

Intell Pentium 4 Processor 2.8 GHz
1G DDR2 RAM
Radeon X600 HyperMemory 256MB

I used to think it was Factions that was the only thing that was slow, so I tried only playing Prophecies(sp?). It still lagged horribly. I've tried having all my settings as low as possible, but still nothing helps. The lag gets exceptionally bad when I go to Ember Light Camp. Usually it takes a while for the lag to kick in, but not there. I've downloaded all the latest drivers and still nothing solves it. All of my other games run just fine with the highest of settings. Oh, and I have also reinstalled it several times. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. This is making GW completely unplayable for me.

Also check connection quality, that could be part of it.
